Step 1: Over the Phone Consultation to Learn What You Want to See in Your New Kitchen Cabinets

We will discuss the overall goals of your remodel during our initial call, from cabinetry door styles and colors to hardware. Are you looking for full overlay doors? Do you need full-extension or soft closing drawers?

Even if you don't know where to begin, our design team will help guide you through every step of the process to make sure you get exactly what you are looking for in your new cabinets. When we are finished, we will have an excellent understanding of what your goals for the project are and an idea of your personal style and needs.

Step 2: In-home Cabinet Selection and Measuring

After our call, we will schedule a convenient time for our designer to come to your home. During this visit, you will have access to a list of custom cabinets and physical samples in line with what we heard in our initial conversation. DCI uses plywood-based wooden cabinets rather than pressboard, shelf-paper covered, faux wood. DCI Cabinets sources these products factory direct to reduce cost while providing better products with a local warranty.

As you search for the perfect hardware, colors, and cabinets, our designer will get to work measuring the physical dimensions of your space. We will be looking at the small details that less experienced contractors often miss, such as the placement of appliances and how they may interfere with the opening of doors and drawers, as well as the overall usability of your future kitchen. When you have finished your wish list of door, cabinet, and hardware styles, we then move to the next step.

Step 3: Creating a Virtual Rendering of Your Dream Kitchen

Imagine being able to view and move around in your dream kitchen before day one of construction begins. When you work with DCI for your remodel, you will be able to do just that. After our in-home meeting, we take your wish list and our measurements and create an immersive 3D rendering of your kitchen. We capture every detail of your cabinetry selection, from the color to the materials that will be used.

We return to your home with your virtual rendering to let you explore your future space. This experience allows our customers to make sure their choices match their expectations and and discuss any upgrade features that may be valuable. If the cabinets are not perfect or the color is off, we can make adjustments in real-time. Our goal is to ensure that your finished project exceeds your expectations in every way and provides you with joy for years to come. When our design is perfect, we can put together final pricing based your selections. This will allow us to be fully transparent on cost and doing our best to meet your budget.

Step 4: Bringing Your Dream to Life

When all the details are finalized, we will schedule the date when we will get started bringing your dream kitchen to life. We order your cabinets and other materials from our cabinetry suppliers and ship them directly to our warehouse or directly to your home.

At the home, the in-home remodelling contractors can begin the installation within the guidance and management of DCI. We make sure everything is installed properly and upholds our warranty. Whether you hire a contractor, or you do it yourself, the DCI team will help with guidance to perfection.
